Using Augmented Reality in the Surgery

In order for pharmaceutical companies to inform HCPs about the latest developments in their drugs a sales team are used to talk face-to-face with the HCP at events, seminars and in the surgery. HCPs are notoriously time poor so it's important that sales teams are equipped with engaging tools to help them grab attention and help inform.
Working as the sole UX/UI designer, I wanted to create an engaging and informative tool for use on a tablet taking full advantage of the augmented reality capabilities of the high-spec tablet devices to allow the sales teams to go out and quickly and effectively deliver the relevant content to a HCP.
Each HCP is different and their interests and specialisms differ so the tool was designed to allow for easy access to all the content available as well as an interesting and engaging exploratory method as well. It was also key to allow the sales team to use the tool in many environments from the big screen of a conference stage to private HCP surgery room. The iPad app employed the use of augmented reality to allow the HCP to explore different aspects of conte from articles to interactive modes of action.
