Proposition

This young San-Fransisco based start-up was looking to build out their MVP product as their incumbant designer was moving on. We were able to fill that gap adding not only UX and UI skillsets but also our years of experience in the financial services sector. We became Unifimoney's defacto product design team looking after and overseeing all design team efforts working alongside the product team.

Approach

The MVP was very much in full swing but there was a clear need for the design system to be updated and for the UX to have a significant overhaul now there were real users downloading the app. We took this as our first job whilst also starting to working with the offshore development team to build design properly into their agile sprints. Then working with aligned sprints, we were building out existing journeys, components, and features alongside engaging in almost constant user research to help us identify the next features we needed to be building to not only keep up with the healthy competition in the fintech space in the US whilst staying true to the ethos of the brand - to unifiy your money into one easy to use app.

We've been workig with the team for two years now and we've managed to setup a solid agile working practice as well build out the design system, which is in constant flux with new features and components needed for each sprint.
